PASSION: Surfing, Sustainable-living and Family
ACCOLADES: Pipeline Specialist and The Goodwin Project

Aamion and Daize Goodwin purvey the soul of surfing with a sense of adventure and familial bond that is reminiscent of the golden-era of surfing. They are a power couple in the surf industry yet remain humble about their extensive list of career accomplishments. Aamion is a professional free surfer and is paid to travel and surf in exotic locales, as well as get barreled at the infamous Banzai Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu during the winter. Although their roots are firmly planted in Hawaii, the Goodwin family are still citizens of the world. Their pursuit of the simple life led them on a unique, 18-month journey, which is documented in an upcoming film titled, “The Goodwin Project.” This film was documented to expose their children to the hippy, gypsy lifestyle that Aamion was raised with by his father. In a post-apocalyptic future, the Goodwin Family would most likely thrive while others withered because they know how to live off the land and be content with life’s bare essentials. They lead a Waiola Life that many of us wish to pursue, but we don’t have the wealth of knowledge and courage the Goodwin family humbly practices on a daily basis.
